「互角で」
●「Neck」は首のこと。もともとは競馬から由来した表現で、
ゴールライン寸前で２頭の馬が「首の差」ほどレースが
近いことを指す。
例文：
A: Who do you think will win the election tonight?
今夜の選挙、誰か勝つと思う？
B: Tough to say. It’s neck and neck right now.
どうだろうね。今は互角だね。
A: These two basketball teams were neck and neck again.
このバスケの試合は接戦だったね。
B: Yeah, it was such a good game. I was on the edge of the seat
during the whole game.
