＜cannot, should,may,might,mustの違いって?＞
＊それぞれに推定、推量の意味がありますが、どの程度の
違いがあるのでしょうか？
例えばIt’s true.「 それは本当だ。」と話し手が確信を持っていっているとします。
しかし断定できない場合、確信の強い順番に言いたい場合は
次のようになりますね。
↓
1. It must be true. = We are almost certain that it is true.)
= ～にちがいない。
2. It should be true. = It is probably true.
=～であろう。
3. It may be true.=It is possibly true.
= ～かもしれない。
4.It might be true.＝It is possible, but unlikely.
＝ひょっとすると～かもしれない。
5. It cannot be true.=We are certain that it is untrue.
～のはずがない。
